Fang Shumei was a well-known bibliologist and bibliophile in the 20 th century. His bibliographic representative work,Ming Qing Dianren Zhushu shumu(hereinafter referred to as “Shumu”),is divided into four sub-collections: jing, shi,zi,and ji.It describes 1583 kinds of Yunnan documents, with rich content and complete style. It is an important reference material for the study of Yunnan literature and history and culture. At the same time,it also embodies his bibliographic thoughts and is of great academic value. However, due to the huge length of this book, which was written by Fang Shumei alone, there will inevitably be some mistakes that will affect its academic value, such as description of the title, volume number error, such as author biography, book content and edition problems. Therefore,it is necessary to examine and sort out the bibliography so that we can make better use of the bibliography. This paper selects88 abstracts with more important contents, talks about the problems on book names, volumes, the writer introductions, and editions.Summarize Fang Shumei’s bibliographical contributions through arranging the bibliography. This paper is mainly composed of three parts: preface, main body and appendix: the preface discusses Fang Shumei and his shumu, the main body talks about the problems of shumu one by one,and the appendix briefly summarizes Fang Shumei’s bibliographic contributions. It is hoped that through sorting, this bibliographic work will become more and more perfect.
