Research Of History—Research On Art Creation Of Major Historical Themes In Contemporary China

Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,art works with major historical themes have occupied the mainstream and important position in China’s art history.No matter their artistic value,educational function or the role of reflecting history to a certain extent,they are unmatched by other painting themes.They reflect the spirit of a nation,record the mark of an era and continue the culture of a race.Some art works with major historical themes that have been tested by time and judged by the audience are also shining like the "leader" in the history of art.They are printed in textbooks to replace the real image materials and become the spiritual guidance of generation after generation.The audience’s emotion finally resonates with the works and artists,and sublimates the connotation of the paintings into personal memory of history.It is precisely because of these characteristics of major historical theme paintings that they have been baptized for several times,but they remain fresh for a long time.Firstly,this paper combs the historical theme works that have great influence in the history of Chinese art from far to near,so as to understand how the major historical theme paintings affect people;The second part mainly selects 13 works from the latest achievements of art creation projects with major historical themes,and analyzes the works in combination with the author’s creative feelings,in order to understand the story behind the works and connect with the third part of this paper.The third part mainly designs and formulates the questionnaire for these 13 samples,arranges and analyzes the recovered questionnaire,understands the public’s understanding of contemporary Chinese art works with major historical themes,and draws the following conclusions:1.There are gender differences in the questions of the questionnaire.The independent sample t-test shows that compared with men,women have heard more about the "national major historical theme art creation project" and its exhibition,and the other items have no significant difference in gender.2.There are differences in age.Using one-way ANOVA test,it is found that people aged 18-25 know more about "national major historical theme art creation project" and its exhibition than people aged 51-60,and people aged 31-40 know more about "national major historical theme art creation project" and its exhibition than people aged 51-60.3.On the issue of whether art works with major historical themes have the status and role of leading cultural self-confidence in the new era,other age groups hold a positive attitude compared with those over the age of 60.4.There are differences in the title of the questionnaire.Using one-way ANOVA,it can be seen that compared with junior high school(and below),senior high school and Bachelor degree,postgraduates and above are more likely to have access to contemporary art exhibitions or information.
