Alphonse Maria Mucha was a master of decorative arts in the late 19th and early 20th centuries,whose images of women combined elegance,sweetness and sanctity.The pursuit of natural and human beauty is evident in Mucha’s works on female subjects,revealing the unique beauty of women of the era and creating a new style of female figure painting,which continues to provide a constant source of inspiration for the creation of female subjects today.This thesis focuses on the historical origins,development stages,factors influencing the creation of the Mughal female figure,the concept of creation and the expression of the artistic language,in order to grasp the artistic techniques and characteristics of the Mughal female figure and apply them in practice.Through the analysis of the female figure in Mucha’s decorative art,the main part of the creative practice is to absorb and learn from the unique circular composition,graceful and smooth curves,flat decorative colours and the use of natural elements in Mucha’s female subjects,and to create a set of decorative style oil paintings of female subjects with the theme of expressing the contemporary female appearance. |
