This is a Japanese-Chinese translation report.The translation text,which is the first and second chapter,is selected from Katou Jyuga’s workなぜ、はたらくのか94歳.女性理容师の遗言(The last words of 94-women hairdresser:Why do we work?)It is autobiographical text.According to Newmark’s text type,it is expressive and appealing text.The author tells readers to cherish the present peaceful life,work for others and society instead of oneself,face difficulties bravely,and never give up one’s life in any case by sharing his own life experience.It is found that there is little practice in translating autobiographical texts by searching CNKI,especially in Japanese.Therefore,the translation practice of this text provides an idea for the translation study of autobiographical texts,which is of academic value.In addition,considering the anxious young people,I hope that this translation practice will give them guidance when they face difficulties and choose a career.The author will introduce it into five chapters in this report.The first chapter is an overview of the translation tasks.This section explains why the author chose this topic and its significance.Chapter two is translation process.There are mainly two parts.One is preparation and the other is translation task process.Chapter three is about the text analysis and theoretical guidance.This chapter starts from three aspects,author introduction,text analysis and theoretical guidance.Chapter four is a translation case analysis.This section focuses on the analysis of vocabulary translation and sentence translation,and selects high-frequency representative vocabulary cases and sentence cases according to the text type for analysis.Chapter 5is a summary of the translation practice.This part is the author’s perception and harvest in the translation,which includes the perception of the translation itself and the translation of autobiographical texts,while the harvest is reflected in the harvest and enlightenment,problems and deficiencies.In view of the characteristics of selected text types and text,the author used Newmark’s famous translation theory,communication translation and semantic translation as the guiding theory,and tried to find a balance between authors and readers in the specific translation,Try to maintain the author’s emotions,retain the cultural characteristics,and try to ensure that the translation conforms to readers’ reading habits,so as to achieve mutual communication.Therefore,relevant materials and adopt various translation methodsThe author summarized the problems and difficulties of this translation practice.In addition to this,the author summarized the translation methods suitable for autobiographical texts.Guided by semantic translation and communicative translation,the methods of translation and annotation are adopted to translate words in order to find the matched Chinese terms.Division and restructuring are employed to translate the sentences to express the meaning of the text and conform to the reading habit of target language reader to get a better effect of expression.
