Aubrey Beardsley’s Black-and-white Schematic Expression Language Of Illustration Art

British illustrator Aubrey Beardsley(hereinafter referred to as Beardsley)is a representative figure of the aestheticism movement.In 1891 he was encouraged to paint by Burne Jones.Its painting style is deeply influenced by the curve style of Art Nouveau and the rough sense of Japanese woodcut,with strong decorative meaning,smooth and beautiful lines,weird and grotesque images,and distinct black and white schemata color blocks illustrating an amazing,decadent,alternative beauty world.This paper will analyze and appreciate the expression language of Biazley’s black and white schemata from a female perspective.The purpose is to make modern Chinese illustrators not only express their unique personality and personal aesthetics,but also have humanistic thoughts,and present the connotation of their national culture in their works through the study of biazley’s black-and-white illustration from a female perspective.This paper mainly adopts the method of literature research and personal works research to demonstrate.It also introduces the interpretation of Beazley’s works from her general situation of art and life.Through the analysis of her female image,it sorts out some thoughts and doubts generated in personal creation,and then takes the female image,female spirit as the representative of gender characteristics,moral outlook and aesthetic perspective,which are three modern female perspectives.This paper makes a profound interpretation of lines and planes,black and white,decorative symbols,composition and other elements in the language of black and white schema of Biazley’s illustration art,and analyzes the expression forms and application practice of biazley’s black and white language and schema language.And through the creation background,cultural context,style change and other factors of Biazley illustration carding and demonstration,to analyze its inner spirit and external form of originality,as well as the author’s personal creation guidance and inspiration.Beazley’s illustration art and the expression language of black and white schema provide a very reference paradigm for visual communication design,which has been transformed and practiced in the author’s personal creation process.The author extracted some creative elements from Beazley’s unique female image design and devoted himself to the creative exploration with more feminist characteristics,interpreted the feminist symbolic language in an inhuman way,and experienced the interlacement and entanglement between natural laws and philosophical laws from the running track of lines.For the development of illustration art to provide more diverse materials and more dimensions of development direction and for China’s art design theory to provide better theoretical support.
