Study Of The Linguistic And Cultural Field Of The Russian-Chinese Concept Word "ДРУЖБА/Friednship"

Language and culture are closely related.One of the approaches to the study of language and culture is the linguistic-cultural field theory of В.В.Воробьёв,which emerged in the late 20 th and early 21 st centuries.The linguistic-cultural field consists of two parts,language and culture,and its cultural connotations are externalized by words,sentences,paragraphs and texts.Based on the theory of linguistic-cultural field,this study takes the Russian-Chinese conceptual word “дружба/friendship” as the research object and constructs the linguistic-cultural field of the Russian-Chinese conceptual word“дружба/friendship” from the perspective of the linguistic-cultural field,using“Национальный корпус русского языка”(Russian National Corpus),the Modern Chinese Corpus(CCL)of the Research Centre for Chinese Linguistics of Peking University,and the Modern Chinese Dictionary(2016)as the corpus.The specific structure and main contents of this thesis are specified as follows.Chapter 1 is the introduction,covering the object of the study,the current status of the study,the purpose and significance of the study,as well as the research methodology and innovations.It summarizes the current state of research on Russian and domestic conceptual words,“дружба/friendship” and linguistic and cultural fields.The study of the similarities and differences between the linguistic and cultural fields of Russian and Chinese “дружба/friendship” is attempted using documentary,descriptive and interpretative,inductive and comparative methods,with a view to enriching the scope of linguistic and cultural research and providing corpus support for foreign teaching and intercultural communication.Chapter 2 introduces the theoretical basis of this study,the basic connotations,units and hierarchical structure of the linguistic-cultural field.The linguistic-cultural field combines intra-linguistic and extra-linguistic factors,depicting not only the connotations of linguistic symbols but also the cultural meanings they carry.The basic unit of the linguistic-cultural field is the linguistic-cultural unit,which is a collection of symbols,meanings,and cultural objects.The linguistic-cultural field has its own characteristics,namely its hierarchical nature.The linguistic-cultural field itself is a hierarchical system,consisting of a core structure,a central structure,and a peripheral structure,in order from the inside out.A linguistic analysis of the etymology,etymology and dictionary interpretation of the concept word "дружба/friendship" to provide linguistic support for the subsequent construction of a linguistic and cultural field.Chapter 3 the linguistic and cultural field of the Russian-Chinese concept word "дружба/friendship" is constructed hierarchically.The central structures are the cognates,synonyms,antonyms and collocations of the conceptual words,while the marginal structures are ambiguous and uncertain in scope,so they are not discussed in detail.The 4 chapter clarifies the concept of linguistic-cultural field combinations,summarises the adjective field,verb field,noun field and other lexical fields of the Russian-Chinese concept word “дружба/friendship”,and analyses the characteristics of each lexical field in detail.Chapter 5 describes and interprets the Russian-Chinese concept word“дружба/friendship” from the perspective of the study of the convergence of linguistic and cultural fields.Firstly,the concept of the aggregation of linguistic and cultural fields is clarified,and secondly,the linguistic and cultural fields of the conceptual word “дружба/friendship” are aggregated and studied at the level of physical cultural knowledge,social scientific cultural knowledge and spiritual cultural knowledge respectively.The concluding remarks summarise the similarities and differences in the linguistic and cultural fields of the Russian-Chinese conceptual word “дружба/friendship”.
