The main subject of this paper is Chinese bronze inscriptions of the spring and Autumn period,that is,the inscriptions cast on bronze ritual vessels,musical instruments and weapons by princes and officials of various countries in this period.As an important stage of the development of the Chinese bronze inscriptions after the development in Shang and Zhou dynasties,it has important research significance.Character compilation is not only a compilation of written materials,but also contains a large number of scientific research achievements,which can better show the character font of the inscriptions in spring and autumn and the achievements of character interpretation.And every few years,the academic circles have published characters compilations.This paper focuses on the compilation of Chinese bronze inscriptions of the spring and Autumn period seen so far,and studies it on this basis.This paper is divided into three parts:The first part is the introduction,including the significance of the topic,the combing of academic history,and the research objectives,contents and methods.The second part is front part.It is the collation and compilation part,which widely collects the Chinese bronze inscriptions of the spring and Autumn Period seen so far,including the published atlas and text compilation of the gold inscriptions of the Shang and Zhou dynasties,the excavation report of the tombs of the Pre-Qin Dynasty,and the textual research and interpretation of the new gold inscriptions published in the journals.On this basis,these inscriptions are sorted out,and the single words of inscriptions are listed according to the prefix order of Shuowen Jiezi,which is divided into 14 volumes and Included 1509 golden prefixes.Each font is marked with the name,era,country,description and other basic information.At the same time,the newly seen Chinese bronze inscriptions of the spring and Autumn period are also arranged into the table,and a key table is attached at the end of the text to form a character compilation.The third part is back part,the research part of the inscriptions in the spring and Autumn period.Through comparison,it focuses on the research of strokes and shapes,which is divided into two chapters.The first chapter is the diachronic comparative study of inscriptions in the spring and Autumn period and the Western Zhou Dynasty.The first section introduces the basic characteristics of the two systems of the Chinese bronze inscriptions.The second section selects the characteristic single word to study the changes of stroke and shape in the process of its evolution.The third section summarizes the inheritance of the inscriptions spring and autumn to the Western Zhou in terms of strokes and glyphs,but it has developed.The lines are more straighter and uniform.In terms of style,it gradually gets rid of the rough and thick characteristics and develops into a regular and beautiful style.Based on this conclusion,the first section of the second chapter divides the characters of various countries into four systems,namely Chinese bronze inscriptions of Qin,Chu,Jin and Qi,and makes a comparative study on the development characteristics of the four systems.The second section selects the four series gold inscriptions to be arranged into a table for synchronic comparative research,and describes the characteristics of strokes and glyphs of the four series of inscriptions.The third section summarizes the characteristics of the style of inscriptions in each department in this period through the overall comparison of the inscriptions of utensils in each department.So far,we can better understand the evolution and development of Chinese bronze inscriptions in the middle and late spring and Autumn period. |
