A Study On The Conversion Of Zhang Xuan's Epitap

The Wei and Jin dynasties took on the Han style in the style of Han Li and opened up the Tang Kai precedent,which was a key period in the history of calligraphy,due to the series of cultural reforms of Emperor Xiaowen of Wei,the Wei Monument came into being.As a fine work in the Northern Wei epitaph," Zhang Xuan’s Epitaph" not only has a unique artistry,but also has high research value.From the background of the era,research overview and calligraphy characteristics of Zhang Xuan’s Epitaph,this article analyzes the artistic characteristics of Zhang Xuan’ s Epitaph and its influence on future generations in a more detailed and systematic way.By combing through the methods and respects of the calligraphers He Shaoji,Li Ruiqing,Zeng Xi and other predecessors since the late Qing Dynasty,the research value of zhang xuan’ s epitaph and the author’s inspiration in the aspect of temporary creation are explored.Through the dynamic beauty of the pen,structure and chapter layout of "Zhang Xuan’s Epitaph" and the static beauty of the famous artists’ inscriptions,the author tries to copy and create " Zhang Xuan’ s Epitaph" from different perspectives and different forms of expression,mainly by changing the writing materials,tools and writing methods,carrying out different effects of the style of Wei stele calligraphy creation,combined with personal aesthetic characteristics in the process of creation experiments,and striving to go through the in-depth study of "Zhang Xuan’s Epitaph".Drawing on the essence of his calligraphy art,integrating into his own practice,realizing the purpose of temporary transformation,and gradually forming his own style characteristics,he sought new development space for contemporary calligraphy on the basis of inheriting tradition and carrying forward tradition.
