Purpose:Explore the prescription and medication patterns of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of adult Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia in modern literature,and then through network pharmacology research,seek the effective ingredients,targets,and signal pathways of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of adult Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia,in order to provide empirical reference and literature basis for the treatment of adult Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia with traditional Chinese medicine.Material and method:Retrieve all relevant literature on the treatment of adult Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia with traditional Chinese medicine from the establishment of the Chinese Journal Database(CNKI),Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform,and VIP Database until December 31,2022.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the literature,statistical analysis was conducted on the four qi,five flavors,and meridian tropism.Association rule analysis was conducted using "SPSS 26.0" software,and association rule visualization was displayed using SPSS Modeler18.0.Input the obtained core drugs into the TCMS database to obtain effective ingredients and targets,obtain disease targets in Gene Cards,OMIM,and Drug Bank databases,and upload the common targets of traditional Chinese medicine and diseases to the STRING platform for protein interaction network analysis.Input the obtained results into Cytoscape 3.9.1 software for network topology analysis,screen out core targets,and finally use the DAVID database for enrichment analysis of GO biological functions and KEGG pathways.Results:1.Medication patterns: This study included a total of 99 articles and 105 prescriptions,involving 162 flavors of drugs.The top 5 drugs in terms of frequency were licorice,bitter almond,scutellaria baicalensis,platycodon grandiflorum,and ephedra.The four Qi types are mainly cold and warm,followed by flat,cool,and hot;The five flavors are mainly bitter,spicy,and sweet.The main meridians of drugs are the lung meridian,spleen meridian,stomach meridian,and heart meridian.The main categories of drugs are phlegm resolving,cough relieving,and asthma relieving drugs,heat clearing drugs,surface relieving drugs,and tonifying drugs.The drug combinations ranked high by support percentage through association rule analysis are "licorice bitter almond","licorice platycodon grandiflorum","bitter almond ephedra",and "licorice ephedra bitter almond".Cluster analysis yielded 5 sets of traditional Chinese medicine combinations,including: first cluster: Aster,Baibu,Donghua,Pinellia ternata,Chenpi,Qianhu,Houttuynia cordata,Fritillaria thunbergii,Scutellaria baicalensis,Mulberry white bark,and Gualou.The second cluster: Anemarrhena asphodeloides,Ophiopogon japonicus,Sichuan Fritillaria,Licorice,Poria cocos.The third cluster: Chaihu,Mint,Honeysuckle,Forsythia suspensa,Platycodon grandiflorum,Loquat leaves.Fourth cluster: Asarum,Cinnamomum cassia,Schisandra chinensis.Fifth cluster: Ephedra,gypsum,bitter almonds.2.Network pharmacology: Data mining of the top 5 traditional Chinese medicines(licorice,bitter almond,scutellaria baicalensis,platycodon grandiflorum,and ephedra)for drug frequency as core formulas.After screening,144 active ingredients,259 drug targets,1084 disease targets,and 74 common drug disease targets were obtained.Among them,the main active ingredients of the drugs include quercetin,baicalin,kaempferol,luteolin,and baicalin.The protein interaction network can screen 18 core targets,Including TP53,TNF,IL6,VEGFA,JUN,IL1 B,PTGS2,CASP3,MMP9,CXCL8,EGFR,STAT3,FN1,IL10,MYC,CCL2,HMOX1,IL2.GO biological process analysis shows that the core prescription mainly involves drug protein binding,plasma membrane,cytoplasm,extracellular domain,positive regulation of apoptosis process,etc.KEGG enrichment analysis pathway mainly includes AGE-RAGE signal pathway,lipid and atherosclerosis,fluid shear force and atherosclerosis,IL-17 signal pathway,TNF signal pathway,etc.in diabetes complications.Conclusion:The traditional Chinese medicine for adult mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia are mainly phlegm-relieving cough antiasthmatic drugs and heat-clearing drugs.The drug properties are mainly cold drugs and warm drugs.The medicinal taste is mainly bitter,sinuous and sweet.Return to the meridian of the lung,spleen,stomach.Five new prescriptions were obtained by cluster analysis,which provided a new idea for the treatment of adult mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia by traditional Chinese medicine.The high-frequency drugs licorice,bitter almond,scutellaria scutellaria,platycodon and ephedra were taken as the core drugs for the treatment of adult mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia by traditional Chinese medicine.Through the network pharmacological study of core drugs,it was found that the main active ingredients are quercetin,baicalin,kaolin,luteolin,hanbaicalin,etc.,which can regulate the targets of TP53,TNF,IL6,VEGFA,JUN,IL1 B,PTGS2,CASP3,etc.The AGE-RAGE signaling pathway,lipid and atherosclerosis,fluid shear force and atherosclerosis,IL-17 signaling pathway and TNF signaling pathways in diabetic complications are regulated to inhibit inflammation and regulate immunity,so as to play a therapeutic role in mycoplasma pneumonia.
