| Objective:The "Treatise on Typhoid and Miscellaneous Diseases" is very detailed in identifying and treating the deficiency of the five organs,which laid the foundation for the application of tonic methods in later generations.However,no master’s or doctoral thesis has been conducted in China to compile and analyze them comprehensively and systematically.In this study,we summarize and analyze the experience of the treating deficiency of the five viscera in the Treatise on Typhoid and Miscellaneous Diseases,and combine it with the play of later medical practitioners,so as to provide reference for the clinical application of the tonic method.Method:(1)Based on the original text of the Treatise on Typhoid and Miscellaneous Diseases,analyze the content of the five viscera tonic method in conjunction with the commentaries of later medical practitioners.Summarize the etiology,clinical manifestations,representative prescriptions and combination characteristics of the five visceral tonic methods.(2)Using the database of China Knowledge Network as the source,we searched,filtered,and analyzed using "Zhongjing/typhoid fever/Jin Kui+liver/heart/spleen/lung/kidney" and "typhoid fever/Jin Kui/Zhongjing+supplement/void" as keywords.(3)Using statistical knowledge,we conducted statistical analysis on the use of prescriptions and drugs related to the "Tonic Method" in the "Treatise on Typhoid Miscellaneous Diseases" with the help of Excel 2016 software to find out the representative prescription and drug combination patterns and characteristics of drug use,so as to provide theoretical support for the study of the use of the "Tonic Method" in the "Treatise on Typhoid Miscellaneous Diseases".Results:The "Treatise on Typhoid and Miscellaneous Diseases" has 99 articles related to the deficiency of the five organs,involving 62 prescriptions.10 evidence of liver deficiency.Treatment:(1)warm the liver and disperse cold;(2)nourish liver yin;(3)nourish the liver and strengthen the spleen.Heart deficiency evidence 10.Treatment:(1)pungent and sweet to transform Yang;(2)nourish the heart and moisten the lung;(3)nourish the spleen and nourish the heart;(4)nourish both Yin and Yang.23 evidence of spleen deficiency.Treatment:(1)warming Yang to disperse cold;(2)warming Yang to strengthen the spleen and clear stomach heat at the same time;(3)strengthening the spleen to remove dampness and phlegm;(4)warming the middle and tonifying deficiency.Five evidence of lung deficiency.Treatment:(1)warm the lung to help Yang;(2)nourish the lung to nourish Yin.18 evidence of kidney deficiency.Treatment:(1)warming the kidney and dispersing cold;(2)warming the kidney and fixing essence;(3)both yin and yang;(4)warming yang and dispersing cold,resolving dampness and relieving water;(5)warming yang and dispersing cold,while clearing upper heat;(6)nourishing the kidney and nourishing yin.Conclusion:(1)Zhongjing created a more complete system for the identification and treatment of spleen deficiency,emphasizing spleen-yang deficiency and the spleen’s metabolic effect on water and fluid,the identification and treatment of actuality within deficiency,and the rise and fall of the spleen and stomach qi,laying the foundation for the "earth-supplementation" method of later generations;(2)Zhongjing attaches importance to the identification and treatment of kidney yang deficiency,treating kidney yang deficiency by distinguishing the urgency of the condition;good at seeking yang in yin and attaching importance to evil in deficiency;(3)Zhongjing established the idea of identifying and treating Lung Yin deficiency and Lung Yang deficiency,Liver Yin deficiency and Liver Yang deficiency,and Heart Yin deficiency and Heart Yang deficiency;(4)Zhongjing "treats the spleen and kidney together","cultivates earth to produce gold","treats the liver to regulate the spleen","treats the heart and spleen together",and treats the deficiency of other organs taking into account the spleen,reflecting Zhongjing’s idea of attaching importance to the spleen and stomach. |
