Research On The Cultural Value Of Internet Buzzword Language

With the development of society,people’s acceptance of new things and new ideas is constantly improving,and the development of science and technology makes the network become the best media for new things and new ideas.The network also plays an increasingly important role in People’s Daily life,and network buzzwords also come into being and their influence is constantly expanding.As the product of the rapid development of the society,network buzzwords are unique in their form,meaning and mode of communication,which can reflect the changes of the society and show the psychological state and goal pursuit of contemporary people.However,network buzzwords also have a huge impact on traditional culture and traditional language,which have aroused the academic community’s attention and conducted a large number of studies.Since there are relatively few researches on the value of network buzzwords in language and culture,this paper mainly studies these two aspects as comprehensively as possible.Methods such as cultural background investigation method,cultural symbol analysis method and literature research method are mainly used.After defining network catchwords,explaining the source of corpus and characteristics,language value is divided into four aspects: theoretical value,grammatical value,rhetorical value and linguistic value.In cultural value,it is divided into four aspects:traditional cultural value,mass cultural value,economic cultural value and social cultural value,to further explore its contribution to language and culture in detail.Finally,this paper also puts forward some suggestions to look forward to the healthy and diversified development of network buzzwords.
