| Shamanism is an ancient primitive religious belief of Mongolian ethnic group. It originated from matriarchal society and is closely related to all aspects of human primitive social life. Its essence is the subjective reflection of primitive human survival consciousness. As a Mongolian primitive religion,Shamanism integrates the spirit, customs, culture and values of the Mongolian people, forms a unique Mongolian Shaman culture phenomenon, and also reflects the historical changes of Mongolian society. With the development of human society,in order to better adapt to social development and people ’s needs,Shamanism has been undergoing self-transformation and development in different historical stages from the origin of clan society to the rich formation of slavery society, and then from the prosperity of Mongolian Dynasty to the loneliness of modern times.Today,Shamanism,in the form of folk culture, affects people ’s spiritual world in its unique way, meets people’s psychological needs, and interacts with various religious beliefs to form a harmonious atmosphere of complementary symbiosis. This study is mainly based on the narrow sense of shamanism, and the research scope of shamanism is limited to Mongolian shamanism, which is integrated into folk culture in the eastern part of Inner Mongolia. On the basis of previous studies, this paper takes Xing ’an League as an example to conduct field research, interviews with many shaman clergy, believers and ordinary people, and conducts in-depth research on the contemporary development of Mongolian shamanism in the eastern part of Inner Mongolia. This study mainly adopts the methods of literature, field investigation and comparative analysis. In the first chapter, the historical roots and nature of Shamanism in the eastern part of Inner Mongolia are analyzed, and the second chapter is the core content. The ritual behavior, inheritance and classification, costumes and props of Shamanism in the eastern part of Inner Mongolia, and the status quo of Shamanism and other religious beliefs are systematically expounded. In the third chapter, the social impact of Shamanism and the management status of Shamanism are explored and analyzed,so as to truly and objectively show the status quo of Shamanism in the eastern part of Inner Mongolia,in order to better understand the contemporary Mongolian Shamanism. This will not only help Mongolian Shamanism to be better inherited and protected, but also enable it to further play a positive role in society. It will also have positive significance for actively guiding Shaman culture to adapt to socialist society and doing a good job in religious work in the new era. |
