Research And Practice Of Realism Style Of Stop-Motion Animation

In recent years,the advancement of technology and process has provided a strong impetus for the development of stop-motion animation,and stop-motion creators from all over the world have emerged and created many excellent works with different styles.Director Susie Tepridon has a distinctive personal style in creation,and the three works she created carry a strong realism in both picture and connotation,among which "Peter and the Wolf" has gained wide attention for its exquisite realistic production style and picture-perfect adaptation.This paper adopts literature research method,case study method and comparative analysis method to analyze and summarize the creation rules of stop-motion animation in "realism style" by studying the realism techniques and technologies used in "Peter and the Wolf" based on the existing realism theories.We also use the results of these analyses to provide theoretical support and technical improvement for our own "realism style" stop-motion animation creation.
