The Development And Variation Of Ren Renfa "Enjoy A Corner Of Autumn Chill"

In the painting circles of the early Yuan Dynasty,Ren Renfa is a master of horse painting as famous as Zhao Mengfu,and he mainly works on figure,horses,and bird-and-flower paintings.Not only highly accomplished in painting,he is also a talented expert in hydraulics.In Ren Renfa’s works still in existence,most of them are the study of figures and pommel horses,and the current research on his bird-and-flower paintings is very scarce due to the rare paintings themed in bird and flower.At present,the only recognized and reliable work of Ren Renfa’s bird-and-flower painting handed down from generation to generation is "The Painting of a Duck in Autumn Water".This article takes this picture as the starting point of Ren Renfa’s representative bird-and-flower painting,and discusses the particularity of the painting performance and aesthetic interest of this painting in the special historical period of the Song and Yuan dynasties.In terms of research methods,the author focuses on the use of comparative analysis of pictures.From the aspects of subject matter,composition,shape and color,the author compares and presents the similar and representative works with the bird-and-flower paintings in the courtyard style of Song Dynasty one by one,makes an intuitive carding and all-round analysis from the whole to the parts,and demonstrates the similarities between this work and the bird-and-flower paintings in the courtyard style of Song Dynasty on this basis.In the study of the change of painting style of "The Painting of a Duck in Autumn Water",the author starts with the background of the era change and analyzes the style change of Ren Renfa affected by this.In this study process,the author also uses the image contrast analysis method to compare the animals and plants in this picture with the scenery and the bird-and-flower paintings in the Song Dynasty,and summarizes the differences.Further analysis of the spiritual and ideological level from the "retro" aesthetic trend advocated by the early Yuan painting circles at that time,this paper discusses the reasons why Ren Renfa abandoned the delicate and rich color in "The Painting of a Duck in Autumn Water" and formed a natural and na(?)ve,pure and unvulgar painting style,as well as the aesthetic meaning and characteristics of the times expressed by Ren Renfa on the basis of inheriting his predecessors,so as to have a more detailed and profound understanding of Ren Renfa’s works in the subject matter of bird-and-flower painting.
