| Based on the methods of literature study and image research method,this paper attempts to analyse the formation and development of Uwe Wittwer’s painting style,and to explore three forms of painting expression in relation to Uwe Wittwer’s works: the presentation of visual symbols,the use of negative effects,and the treatment of ambiguous images.The paintings of neo-expressionist artist Uwe Wittwer are mostly based on press images and photographic negatives,and are mainly created in the form of digital photographs,which have a unique artistic style and pictorial language and have inspired the author.Based on the summaries of Uwe Wittwer’s painting expressions,the techniques and experiences learnt are applied flexibly to the Interval series based on the time period and the subjective thoughts and feelings,thus further exploring a unique and contemporary painting language.This paper focuses on the analysis of the influence of Uwe Wittwer’s photo painting on the creation of Interval series.It starts from the influence of Uwe Wittwer’s painting on the selection and conception of Interval series,and discusses the exploration and practice of expression forms in the work under the influence of Uwe Wittwer’s painting.In addition,the creation process of Interval series is elaborated from five aspects: material processing,color application,instant sense creation,graphic symbol application and emotional expression.Finally,the problems encountered in the creative process are reflected upon deeply.Combining the gains from this study and practice process,the social and artistic values are explored in depth,the academic value is enhanced through in-depth research,and a unique aesthetic system and creative style is formed. |
