We also analyze the construction and writing of the poetic context, and the persistent and subjective poetic context that it creates as a unique event. The cultural implications and poetic value of the "folding branches" symbol are explained to provide reference for the study of other specific symbols and to enrich the way of poetry appreciation and creation. The first chapter explores the connotation and development of the "folding branch" symbol. The key to this essay is to define what is a poetic event, especially the "folding branch" event. The term "folding branches" has been enriched since it entered the realm of literary creation, and the development of "folding branches" is examined in order to analyze the changes in its development during each dynasty and the reasons why it reached its peak in the Song Dynasty. The second chapter begins with the classification and poetic presentation of "folding branches".This chapter examines the giver and the recipient of the "folding branches".If the giver or the recipient is different, the poetic context of "folding branches" will naturally be different. The giver is also the "branch-breaker".The implied subject of most of the "folded branches" is "I",while only a few are "you" or "he/she".There is also a difference in the subject of "folding" due to the difference in gender.Let’s look at the recipient. The "branches" of "Folded Branches" are mostly natural "branches",such as willow branches, peach branches, cherry branches or plum branches, and so on,and the representative "branches" of these categories are combined with the ancient "branches".These representative "branches" are combined with their specific connotations in ancient times to analyze the different poetic contexts and poetic meanings of the event of "folding branches".The third chapter explores the themes and cultural implications of the "broken branches".The analysis in Chapter 2 provides a glimpse of the various types of "folding branches".However, the most important aspect of the poem is its cultural meaning. From the perspective of poetic cultural connotation, the "folded branch" image has gradually developed from an expression of objective facts to a subjective speech and expression, which is the result of the poet’s poetic theory and ideological and cultural drive and construction in the process of poetry creation.During its long historical development, the "folding branches" not only transcended its real expression as an action, but also became a poetic symbol with both poetic and cultural double-layered meanings, mainly with three types of poetic and cultural meanings: farewell and sorrow, spring and cherishing spring, and entering the world and establishing a career, which will be analyzed one by one in this chapter. The fourth chapter summarizes the poetic value and significance of the "folding branches" symbol. The "folded branch" has both poetic and cultural meanings, and is of great significance to the ancients in expressing their emotions and finding and returning to themselves. The fusion of the meaning of the life of the object and the self is also a profound guide and inspiration for contemporary literary creation and even for the survival, development and emotional expression of individuals in society. In a sense, the "folding branch" is the most important way for the creators of ancient Chinese poetry to integrate themselves with the life of nature."It has many poetic values and plays an important spiritual role, with its poetic and cultural connotations of sending off sorrow, cherishing spring and entering the world. |
