Extension Of Space

In the real world,Windows are a very common and indispensable architectural element.In many artistic creations,"window" is also an important theme and expression content.As a special visual symbol,they often appear in the picture in the form of image expression,or directly as the main image of the work or even a complete and independent image,to build a unique visual effect for the audience.In this paper,the window is a widely used image element in painting as the object of discussion,to explore the evolution of the window in painting,the way of expression and the aesthetic significance behind,and to improve their own theoretical discussion and painting creation.The first chapter discusses the important status of "window" as a painting element in painting and its evolution process,and then discusses the different forms of window expression.The discussion in the first section starts from the two different viewing ways of "window" inside and outside,and discusses the emotional connection between this viewing way and the creator itself and the resonance with the viewer.The second section discusses the relationship between the figure and the "window" in the painting.The landscape outside the window has a symbiotic relationship with the spiritual world of the figure,which is a reflection of the inner space of the indoor figure.The third section explores the relationship between Windows and light,which exists because of "Windows" and leads the outer world to the inner space,connecting the inside and outside.The second chapter discusses the aesthetic meaning of window.Painting is a window open to the world,and the window in a painting is a picture in a picture and a window in a window.It opens an extended space for painting,which is closely related to the spiritual world of the creator and enables the audience to enter multi-dimensional space and think.The third chapter,combined with my creation,analyzes the application of window in my works,sorts out my own creation process,gains and losses,deepens my understanding and thinking on this topic,and summarizes the research direction for the next step.
