“Homeomorphism-Shandong Contemporary Art Slice Research Exhibition” Exploration Of Curatorial Philosophy

To enhance the quality of exhibition requires the introduction of cutting-edge planning concepts,while the development and implementation of exhibition concepts require excellent planners and teams to complete.The curatorial concept is the core of the practice of displaying the artistic value of an exhibition,and it has a guiding role in the display of the exhibition results and the embodiment of the value of artworks.This paper takes the functional role of curator and the birth of curatorial concept as the starting point,and takes the youth curatorial project of the First Jinan International Biennale in 2020,"The Same Embryo-Contemporary Art Slice Research Exhibition in Shandong",in which I participated,as an example,to explain the importance of curatorial concept and the functional role of curator to the implementation of the exhibition,and to discuss how to fully The central focus of this paper is on the exhibition’s curatorial philosophy and the functional role of the curator in the implementation of the exhibition.The core focus of this paper is the curatorial concept of this exhibition.Based on my own learning experience in curatorial studies and my actual participation in this exhibition,I analyze and summarize the curatorial concepts related to Chinese contemporary art and compare classic curatorial cases,and analyze and cut into the landed exhibition with the way of thinking and concept generation of contemporary art curation,so as to explore in depth the positioning,curatorial concept,and the role of curators in this exhibition,The curatorial concept and the importance of the curator in the exhibition.
