Based on the concept of intonation pattern, this paper uses the method of acoustic experiment to analyze and investigate the pitch, length and intensity of the Chinese declarative intonation of Cambodian learners systematically. The main conclusions are as follows: In the aspect of pitch, the overall range of sentence pitch is always relatively wide when Cambodian learners learn Chinese declarative sentences. But the overall fluctuation is smaller than that of Chinese students. The range of the final word pitch is the largest. The middle line and the bottom line of the sentence pitch are in a step-down trend. And the "upper tone" can be easily affected by the negative transfer of the target language. As for the length,Cambodian learners have a better acquisition about the extension of the word before the prosodic boundary, and the extension of the time of the last word in the first phrase in a sentence is more obvious than other syllables; For sound intensity,Cambodian learners’ maximum volume ratio is fixed, and they can grasp the enhancement of the final word volume better. But the distribution pattern of each prosodic word is fluctuating. This is closely related to the negative transfer of Cambodian learners’ mother tongue, target language, training errors and age factors. This paper is divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction. The second part is the experimental design. The third part is an experimental analysis about the intonation of Chinese declarative sentences what are used by Cambodian learners. The fourth part is a comparative analysis of Cambodian learners and Chinese native speakers. The fifth part is teaching suggestions for Cambodian learners to acquire the intonation of Chinese declarative sentences. The sixth part is the conclusion. This chapter summarizes the results of the experimental research and puts forward the innovation and deficiency of this study. Finally, several suggestions are put forward for Cambodian learners to acquire the intonation of Chinese declarative sentences: to strengthen their awareness of the language teaching and learning,to emphasize the combination of tone and intonation,to improve the teaching method for intonation,to strengthen the combination of intonation and sentence ideographic,to reasonably arrange the teaching content, and to establish the Cambodian learner corpus.
