| In recent years,an increasing number of outstanding Chinese vocal works have emerged and gained popularity among students.The genre of "Folk Songs with a New Classical Touch" proposed by composer Luan Kai has also been well-received.These works represent a music style created in the context of a new era where traditional and modern,Eastern and Western music blend together.They incorporate elements with ethnic characteristics in terms of lyrics,melodies,and arrangements.The intention is to promote our nation’s excellent traditional culture and open up new pathways for the development of ethnic vocal music.This article focuses on the specific practices of three "Folk Songs with a New Classical Touch" works: "Flowers Adorning the Tower," "Peony Pavilion," and "A Dream in the Red Chamber," performed during a solo concert.Firstly,by introducing the concept and discussing its current development,we establish a preliminary understanding of "Folk Songs with a New Classical Touch." Secondly,we conduct a detailed analysis of the lyrics and musical structures of the three pieces,aiming to gain a deeper understanding of the musical characteristics of "Folk Songs with a New Classical Touch" in terms of lyrics,melodies,and more.This analysis assists the performers in better grasping the expression of emotions and the application of vocal techniques,while understanding the overall framework and textual content of the works.Furthermore,through research on the interpretation of emotions and the handling of challenging aspects in the performance of these works,we address practical issues encountered during singing and provide insights on how to improve one’s abilities when facing such works,offering valuable guidance for singers performing these types of works.Finally,the article concludes with reflections and experiences gained from the solo concert,summarizing the lessons learned from the process and outcomes of the concert.This article primarily focuses on the analysis of the works from both a musical and practical perspective,further dissecting the specific issues related to the performance of "Folk Songs with a New Classical Touch." By analyzing the theoretical and practical aspects of different challenging points in the works,the aim is to encourage more vocal learners to understand and participate in the performance practice of this genre.Additionally,it is hoped that this research will provide valuable references for vocal learners in terms of practical performance and comprehension of content when dealing with such works. |
