Yu Zheguang is a famous Chinese art film director,the creator of the first generation of puppet films in Shanghai Art Film Studio,and the practitioner and founder of promoting the national style art of Chinese animation.His animation art career lasted from the 1950 s to the 1980 s,and he grew up together with Chinese animation and created a large number of excellent animation works.He not only participated in the creation of puppet films,but also pioneered the art form of origami,making great contributions to the development of Chinese animation.Therefore,this paper takes Yu Zheguang as a case study,mainly analyzes his director’s animation works as an example,and summarizes the artistic style of his animation works.The full text is mainly divided into four parts: the first chapter introduces Yu Zheguang’s life and animation art course based on the clue of time and history,and points out that his animation art creation idea is "lest not false,lest not strange",and discusses its relationship with the hypothetical characteristics of animation.Trace back to the reasons for the formation of its animation art style.The second chapter summarizes the national style of Yu Zheguang’s animation art,which is reflected in the story theme of his animation works,the innovative application of many kinds of craft materials in animation creation,the unique style of his animation works and performance,and the construction of multi-rhythm art in sound processing.The third chapter deeply summarizes the aesthetic education thoughts contained in Yu Zheguang’s animation art,reveals the aesthetic education purpose of his creation for children,summarizes the artistic techniques of his animation creation to simplify,and elaborates the expression content of his animation works such as sentiment education,spiritual education and aesthetic education.The fourth chapter is the research on the artistic value of Yu Zheguang’s animation and the inspiration to today’s animation creation,pointing out that animation theory researchers and creators should learn the artistic ideas and experiences of animation art predecessors,attach importance to their artistic achievements,inherit their artistic spirit,maintain positive creative enthusiasm,and use animation art to tell Chinese stories well and show the image of China’s great beauty.
