Study On Xiezhiliu’s Landscape Painting Identification And Creation "Good Identification And Painting,the Unity Of Knowledge And Practice"

Xie Zhiliu is a rare combination of painter,connoisseur,scholar,and poet in the modern art world.Drawing on his excellent painting practice,combined with his scholarly knowledge,Xie Zhiliu developed a unique theory of painting appraisal,and his achievements in landscape appraisal are particularly outstanding;his appraisal theory helped him achieve pioneering achievements in constructing a historical view of landscape painting;in turn,it guided his own practice of landscape painting,taking the method from above,entering the past and creating a new one,and completing the self-transcendence of his painting style.This paper attempts to break through the tendency of art theory in general,which defines the identity of the subject in a single way,fragments the field of study,and focuses the research interests in a single corner,and to take a cross-border view of the overall cultural operation of Chinese art.Through the case of Xie Zhiliu’s knowledge and practice of landscape painting,the cultural lineage and structural characteristics of Chinese art are revealed.
