Arina was a famous Mongols writer and translator in the Qing Dynasty.He made great contributions to the translation of the Chinese classical novel "Journey to the West",especially to critical appreciation.His Mongolian translation of Journey to the West,its preface and 70 comments,played an important role in the history of Mongols’ s literary theory and had a positive impact on the cultural exchanges of the Chinese nation.This paper focuses on the preface and 70 critiques of Arina Mong’s translation of "Journey to the West",summarizes its unique evaluation methods,adopts comparative poetics and hermeneutics theoretical methods,and strives to extract and construct Arina’s literary theory system.The paper consists of three parts: introduction,main text(1-3chapters),and conclusion.The introduction states the reason for choosing the topic,previous research,research purpose and significance,research methods,and data sources.The first,provides a detailed explanation of Arina’s literary functionalism from three perspectives: literary cognitive function,educational function,and entertainment function.The second,chapter systematically explains Arina’s literary text theory from three aspects: the "profoundness" and "implication" of literary language,the "immeasurable and singular nature" and "seeking truth" of literary meaning,and the "completeness" of literary structure.The third,summarizes Arina’s literary reception theory from the perspectives of "enlightenment","Wukong",and "heart centered",and summarizes Arina’s unique evaluation methods and their values.The conclusion summarizes Arina’s literary theory system and its characteristics,clarifies the systematization of this "comment style" literary theory,thereby achieving modern transformation of literary discourse and stimulating its vitality,which has practical and theoretical significance.
