| Gilles Deleuze focused on the philosophical and political interpretation of desire, thus forming the micropolitics of desire, establishing a capitalist critical logic based on an active view of desire.Deleuze argues that desire is not absent, but productive.Taking productive desires as a logical starting point,he analyzes the schizophrenia of capitalism: on the one hand, revolutionary desires break through the coding of authoritarian social machines, and capitalism brings rapid economic development and social progress;Capitalism,on the other hand, domesticates and directs desires by recoding political, economic, legal, institutional, and other aspects. This deterritorializing force of desire and the re-territorializing force of desire symbols confronted each other, eventually leading to capitalist schizophrenia.Different from Marx’s logic of "labor",Deleuze turned his attention to the analysis of desire under the capitalist state apparatus, moving from the macro level to the micro level, providing a new theoretical perspective with important enlightenment for criticizing capitalism. The micro-politics of desire that is linked to but distinct from Marx’s critical theory of capitalism has been formed. On the one hand,in the critique of capitalism,Deleuze’s critique is undoubtedly influenced by Marx, and is moving along the internal logic of the critique of capitalism pioneered by Marx; But on the other hand,as a master of philosophy,Deleuze has a rich philosophical background,so when he extended to political philosophy in the later period,it was easier to look at problems from a new perspective, and he carried out creative independent thinking about Marx’s political philosophy.Deleuze restated the basic connotation of Marx’s social production with the concept of desire production.Starting from micro-desire,Deleuze constructed his own critical theory of capitalism by explaining how the surging stream of desire was blocked unconsciously.Deleuze’s political philosophy is the continuation and development of Marx’s critical theory of capitalism, but it also contains a unique interest in political philosophy. His unique political philosophy can help us to further understand Marxism and its critical theory of capitalism, but at the same time, some thoughts of Deleuze gradually divorced from Marx’s historical materialism and social and political philosophy when he created philosophy, which inevitably led to some limitations of Deleuze’s political philosophy. |
