Abstract/Summary:
In the long course of development in China, people have created a variety of splendid art and culture, among which Chinese painting and calligraphy is one of the most important forms of artistic expression. With the passage of time, most of the ancient calligraphy and painting have been destroyed or lost, only a small part of the ancient calligraphy and painting has been inherited and preserved so far, which has great research value. However,in the process of long-term preservation, these calligraphy and painting have also been faded and damaged to varying degrees due to various reasons. Therefore, the restoration of traditional Chinese painting is of great significance to the protection and dissemination of cultural relics and the study of ancient culture. In order to make the restoration of ancient calligraphy and painting as perfect as possible, many color workers began to study the color restoration technology of digital Chinese painting. However, all the current technologies are based on the virtual color reproduction and restoration of ancient calligraphy and painting by computer, which are not applied to the Chinese painting itself to be restored. In view of this phenomenon, this paper uses multi-spectral imaging technology to obtain the color of Chinese painting targets and reconstruct the spectral reflectance, and further improves the algorithm to improve the accuracy of color reconstruction. At the same time, for the traditional Chinese painting that needs manual repair in the museum, the computer color matching algorithm is used to calculate the pigment concentration accurately in the process of its full color matching, and applied to the actual operation of the full color of the traditional Chinese painting.Firstly, the multispectral image of the target color is collected, and the corresponding algorithm is used to reconstruct the reflectance spectrum.Compared with the existing pseudo-inverse method,BP neural network method and principal component analysis method, aiming at the shortcomings of these algorithms, the method of pre-clustering the samples before reconstruction is proposed to improve the accuracy of spectral reconstruction. The Munsell color card is used to verify the proposed method. The results show that when the number of samples is large, the effect of spectral reflectance reconstruction after clustering is better than other methods. The average CIE2000 color difference, average root mean square error and average fitness coefficient after reconstruction are 0.0836,0.0149 and 99.82 %,respectively, which is of certain significance in improving the accuracy of spectral reconstruction.Secondly, for the full-color matching of Chinese painting, according to the response value of the Chinese painting to be repaired, the spectral reflectance of the target full-color Chinese painting is reconstructed by using the spectral reconstruction method. Then, the computer color matching algorithm is used to obtain the pigment color matching ratio and experiment. Finally, the experimental results are analyzed and evaluated in terms of spectrum and chromaticity. The experimental results show that the accuracy of the proposed method is 66.67 %.The application of digital color reproduction technology to the restoration of traditional Chinese painting can better restore the original appearance of traditional Chinese painting, shorten the time spent on the restoration of traditional Chinese painting, and reduce the influence of workers’ subjective intention, which has a good application prospect.
