The Zhou Yi is an all-encompassing book that covers all things in heaven and earth, and contains the sages’ overall understanding and grasp of the functioning of the universe and the nature of heaven and earth. The Zhou Yi is revered by Confucianism as "the first of the Five Classics",and Confucianism’s scriptures have borrowed and integrated the ideas of Yi to a certain extent in the process of formation and evolution. In his later years,Confucius studied the Zhou Yi deeply, and the Yi zhuan was either written by him or recorded by his disciples, but the connotation of the Yi zhuan must be based on Confucius’ core thoughts. Therefore, the interpretation of Confucian classics cannot be separated from the system of Yi,and only by insisting on Yi as the basis and humanism as the use can we dig deeper into the connotation of the natural view behind Confucianism. The Yi-ology Naturel View, which is based on Yi Studies, has become a key to the interpretation of Confucian classics.Yi-ology Naturel View is based on the relationship between yin-yang,the dynamic operation of the five elements, the eight trigrams as the symbols of everything in the universe, and the core elements of the dialectic of yin-yang,the evolution of the four signs, the operation of the five elements, and the symbols of the eight trigrams,to build a framework of the relationship between man and nature, and to form a fundamental understanding of the universe and nature. As the theoretical basis for the combination of the metaphysical and metaphysical views of nature,"Heaven and Man" is a concrete symbol and expression of the relationship between heaven, earth and man.As the core of Confucianism,"destiny" is a specific interpretation of the relationship between heaven and man.Based on their respective historical and cultural contexts, scholars of all generations have interpreted "destiny" in a way that is inseparable from the core ideas of "the destiny of heaven(destiny)" and "the destiny of man(heavenly destiny)".Therefore, these two aspects can be said to be the essence of Confucianism’s "destiny" thought. In this thesis,we analyze the connotation of "destiny" in the book "Analects of Confucius",based on the natural view of Yi,and the basic connotation and inner laws of Yin-Yang,the five elements and the five virtues,in order to achieve a holistic grasp of the connotation of "destiny" in the natural view. The body of this thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, including the purpose and significance of the topic and the innovation. The second chapter discusses the evolution of the connotation of Confucianism’s "destiny" in different historical periods, thus summarizing the essential connotation of Confucianism’s "destiny" thought. At the same time,an overview of the natural view of Yi is given, and the connotation of "destiny" is briefly explained from the level of the natural view of Yi.Chapter 3 discusses the meaning of the concepts of yin-yang,the eight trigrams, and the five elements in the natural view of Yi,and discusses in depth the path of "the way of heaven down to human nature" with the dialectical relationship between yin-yang as the main line, establishing the inner connection between the essence of yin-yang and the theory of life, and the basic model that the moral nature of human being comes from the yin-yang of heaven. At the same time, the logic of the operation of the five elements is used as a branch line to explore in depth the path of "human nature reaching heaven",and to clarify that the moral nature of human beings follows the five elements of the earth, understands the principle of the operation of the five elements, and then cultivates the five virtues to realize the ultimate return to the nature of heaven. The fourth chapter follows the previous two chapters and provides a new interpretation of the concept of "destiny" in the book of "Analects of Confucius" at the level of the natural view, trying to clarify the inner logical structure of the book of "Analects of Confucius" and to dig deeper from the perspective of the natural view of Yi Studies,so as to The fifth chapter is devoted to the interpretation of the natural concept of Yi.The fifth chapter is a forward-looking reflection on the original meaning of "destiny" in the natural view of Yi,which is a necessary extension of the connotation of "destiny",and provides some useful reflections on the development of science and technology by combining the contents of human beings and science and technology, and bringing into play the guidance of excellent traditional culture. The purpose of this study is to provide some useful thoughts on the development of science and technology.
