Felix Mendelssohn,a famous German composer,conductor,music educator and pianist,was a highly representative and influential musician of the romantic school in the early 19 th century.He was known as the "master of lyric landscape painting" and played a very important role in promoting the music history of Europe.Mendelssohn inherits the rigor and regularity of classicism in his creation,and combines the freedom and randomness of Romanticism at the same time,creating his distinctive and unique creation style.Song Without Words is Mendelssohn’s famous piano music collection,which spans the important fifteen years in Mendelssohn’s life.This work is composed of eight opus numbers,each of which has six different ditty,each of which is very delicate and characteristic piano pieces.The music images of these works are vivid and vivid,expressing the author’s love and praise for life and nature.He made the piano "sing" a refreshing style with sweet and simple tunes.At the same time,this work also covers many important creative skills of Mendelssohn,which fully embodies the creation pursuit of romantic pursuit of instrumental vocal music.This paper consists of three parts,the first part is the introduction of Mendelssohn and the creation background of the song without words,the second part analyzes the musical form characteristics of the work from four aspects of melody,musical structure,harmonic mode and texture type,the third part,through the combination of theory and practice,the author analyzes the playing techniques of the work from two aspects of musical terminology and technical difficulties.It condensed the playing skills of Mendelssohn’s no-words song more accurately,so that the players could be able to achieve mastery when playing other pieces in the future,and play a certain promoting role.
