With the continuous improvement of China’s comprehensive national strength,global influence and discourse power,and the increasingly widespread dissemination of Chinese language.According to statistics from the Ministry of Education,as of2018,the number of international students in China has reached 500000,and more than 180 countries and regions have implemented Chinese education.More than 70 countries have included Chinese in the national education system,and the number of people studying Chinese abroad has exceeded 20 million.With the emergence and use of language mobile learning tools,existing research has shown that language mobile learning can greatly improve language learning efficiency.In future research and educational work,language mobile learning will be a transformative presence.This article conducts a survey and analysis of the use of Chinese language learning apps by international students in Yunnan region,sorting out the characteristics,advantages,and shortcomings of current Chinese language learning apps,in order to promote the optimization and improvement of Chinese language learning apps,help Chinese language teachers use Chinese language learning apps to assist classroom teaching and improve the efficiency of online Chinese language learning for international students,and help international students select and use Chinese language learning apps that are more in line with their own needs.A questionnaire survey was conducted on 105 international students from Yunnan universities such as Yunnan University,Kunming University of Science and Technology,Yunnan Normal University,and Yunnan Minzu University.Nine international students were interviewed,including their perception of Chinese language learning software,basic usage,utilization evaluation and feedback,and design expectations for Chinese language learning software.Using research methods such as literature review,questionnaire survey,individual interviews,and econometric statistics,analyze the usage of Chinese language learning apps.Through investigation and research,it has been found that there are issues such as the need for improvement in the Chinese learning app software itself,the need to improve the utilization of Chinese international student resources,and incomplete learning content settings.In response to the existing problems,optimization suggestions have been proposed for software content design,emphasizing the distinction between hierarchical and phased construction,emphasizing interesting forms of expression,developing vertical domain columns,and emphasizing nationalization and personalized design.In terms of hardware design,it is proposed to improve technology and provide users with a higher quality experience.And propose optimization and improvement strategies and suggestions from learners and course designers.This study is expected to promote the efficiency of Chinese as a foreign language,help students master language skills more efficiently,and provide user feedback and data support for the further improvement of Chinese learning software.
