Research On The Creation Of Contemporary Military-themed Ceramic Sculptures

With the development of the times and social changes,conflicts and unease often exist around human beings,allowing everyone to re-examine the meaning of life and peace,and the creation of military-themed art works resurfaced in front of us,the creation of such themes reflects the humanistic care of art,and ceramic materials with their unique material language and creative techniques show moving humanistic care and emotional attitude in military-themed artistic creation,providing an excellent expression medium for military-themed artistic creation.It has expanded a larger space for the development of sculpture art.The application of military theme ceramic sculpture creation and its creation techniques in the creative practice of sculpture art has become more and more mature,but the relevant theoretical research is relatively scattered,so it is appropriate to sort out the application of military themes in the creation of ceramic sculpture in a timely manner.It can not only enrich the theoretical knowledge of ceramic sculpture,but also provide certain guidance and reference for artists who create military-themed ceramic sculptures,especially the author himself.Through reading relevant literature,the author sorted out and analyzed the creation works of ceramic sculptures with military themes,and sorted out the ceramic craft techniques involved in the creation process,and sorted out and studied the application of military themes in the creation of ceramic sculptures.This paper first defines and analyzes the concept of military themes and ceramic sculptures,and then classifies and analyzes the works of this theme in the field of ceramic sculpture creation with objects,identities and events as clues,and analyzes and studies the ceramic sculpture creation techniques used in the creation process,such as modeling techniques,decorative techniques and the material language of ceramic materials,and explores the performance of ceramic materials and their special material language in the creation of military-themed sculptures.Then,combined with personal creative practice,the emotional expression of ceramic materials in military-themed artistic creation was considered and explored,and it was concluded that military-themed artistic creation should rely on the reality of its subject matter,exert influence on the shaping of social ideology,advocate anti-war and peace,and in the field of artistic creation,artists should maintain sensitivity to new technologies and new processes,and explore new ways of expression of artistic language in artistic creation.
