Research On The Documentary Style Creation Of Mobile Films

Technological progress has given rise to the continuous optimization and upgrading of movies and cell phones.Cell phone films were born on the basis of interoperability of technology,culture,art,entertainment and communication.The high penetration rate and high usage rate of cell phones are conducive to the promotion and development of film art.The production advantages of mobile films reduce the cost of film production and barriers to entry,and broaden the form of film shooting.Nowadays,people commonly use cell phone videos to record their lives,unconsciously and accidentally reflecting some level of documentary style film characteristics.This thesis combines the cell phone film work "Me and Grandpa" to study the documentary style creation of cell phone films.The documentary style narrative strategy of the cell phone movie is realized through the thematic meaning in the real social background,the typical characters in the real life,and the narrative structure in the cell phone landscape.By following the traditional documentary style film’s use of long shot images,natural lighting effects,and the use of simultaneous sound and non-professional actors,we explore the documentary style image construction of cell phone films by using the advantages and characteristics of cell phones.The research on the creation of documentary style of cell phone film will help cell phone film creation become more mature and contribute to the diversified development of film art;and make useful additions to the current film art media form,film art theoretical categories and film audiovisual art.
