| “He: Ug(?)l(?)” is a general term for “pattern and picture” in Mongolian.It refers to an artistic form that is reflected in various utensils and clothing,runs through daily life and etiquette,and balances practicality and decoration.The well-known saying goes as “meaning is embodied in pictures,auspiciousness is embodied in meaning",which is also illustrated in Mongols patterns because they embrace happy and auspicious implications.However,with the rapid development of Mongol wedding industry,Mongol wedding gradually deviates from the pattern application mode,and the emotion and life wisdom conveyed by the pattern are also gradually lost,making it difficult to inherit the connotation.The allegorical beauty and modeling beauty of Mongol patterns have been confirmed in those previous studies,but there are few studies on the relationship between life etiquette and the patterns.Therefore,this study focuses on Mongol wedding and explores the internal relationship between Mongol patterns and Mongol wedding.The excavation of the characteristics of the patterns in Mongol traditional wedding makes the direction of redesign clear.This research mainly adopts the literature analysis method and field research method,aiming to explore the internal relationship between Mongol patterns and Mongol wedding,pave the way for the related research on Mongol patterns and Mongol wedding,and try to find new ways of interpretation and development through different perspectives,so as to better continue and inherit the spiritual core of the patterns shown in Mongol wedding,and highlight the character of ethnic culture.Therefore,this study focuses on:(1)combing and analyzing the application scenarios and carriers of patterns in Mongol traditional wedding;(2)Through the analysis of the three factors of Mongol traditional wedding,namely,the object,the owner of the object,and the implication of the pattern,the internal relationship of the pattern application in Mongol wedding is concluded;(3)By means of market research,the issues about the contemporary pattern application in Mongol wedding are analyzed;(4)Based on the research results,the design of Mongol pattern products that not only meet the Mongol wedding culture,but also meet the current life needs has been put into the market and has received good response.This research found that the patterns and application methods in Mongolian weddings are not only related to the pattern samples,and then made the following conclusions:(1)The definition of the patterns in Mongolian weddings depends on three things: the object,the person who owns the object,and the meaning of the pattern(2)The application and combination of patterns in Mongolian weddings should conform to the characteristics and relevance of the patterns.(3)The design transformation of Mongolian wedding products should conform to the characteristics,relevance and traditional customs of the patterns.Although traditional patterns have undergone thousands of years of evolution,they should still have unique meanings in weddings.The integration and development of the wedding industry and the cultural and creative industry at present,the application and transformation of patterns should meet the above three points,which can effectively promote the activation,inheritance and innovative application of patterns in Mongolian weddings. |
