Research On Liu Bing And His Complete Works Of Chun Yu Xuan

Liu Bing(1331-1399),his another name is Yanbing and he is also called Lanyun.He was a Po-yang in the end of Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of Ming Dynasty,and he was called "Five literati in Po-yang " together with Li Tingrui,Wu Cun,Xu Rui and Ye Lan.Liu Bing has long been known as a poet,and he has an book named The complete Works of Chun Yu Xuan handed down form generation to generation.The poems reflect the political environment,the life of scholars,and the atmosphere in Raozhou area at the end of Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of Ming Dynasty,which is of great value in the study of the literature in the end of Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of Ming Dynasties and Raozhou local literature.Therefore,this paper selects Liu Bing and The complete Works of Chun Yu Xuan,discusses his family history and life history,sorts out the source of editions of his works,summarizes the contents of his works,and expounds the literary and historical value of works,so as to contribute to the research on the figures of the Ming Dynasty and the arrangement and research of local literatures of Jiangxi Province.The foreword summarizes the research of Liu Bing,including combing the research status of Liu Bing and his works of Chun Yu Xuan,and summarizes the reason and significance of the topic selection and writing ideas and methods of this paper.There are four chapters in my thesis.The first chapter focuses on Liu Bing’s family background and life experience.According to the records of Liu family preserved in The complete Works of Chun Yu Xuan,the family situation of Liu Bing was discussed,the important deeds of his life were sorted out.The second chapter focuses on his friends of literary circles.His contacts were investigated according to three parts: scholars,officials and monks,so as to understand the various aspects of the writer and the time background reflected in the work.The third chapter focuses on the compilation and edition of The complete Works of Chun Yu Xuan,which discusses the books,literature descriptions,edition characteristics and edition system of Liu Bing’s surviving works.The fourth chapter focuses on the content and value of The complete Works of Chun Yu Xuan,which analyzes the contents of The complete Works of Chun Yu Xuan based on the text,and fully explores the literary and historical value of The complete Works of Chun Yu Xuan.The appendix summarizes the inscriptions and postscripts of the catalog of The complete Works of Chun Yu Xuan.
