The poem Father’s Grassland and Mother’s River is based on the long poem of the famous Chinese poet Xi Murong,composed by Ulantoga.It is a work with a strong Inner Mongolian ethnic music style.The work uses poetic lyrics,lyricism,and stretching melodies to express the deep and passionate longing and praise of the wanderer for their grassland hometown.Nowadays,this work is characterized by its beautiful,popular,and gripping melody The touching emotional expression and rich Mongolian ethnic music characteristics have become representatives of modern Mongolian ethnic music style vocal works,deeply loved by many singers and vocal performers.The author will delve into the music characteristics and singing treatment of the song from the perspectives of its creative background,musical structure and artistic characteristics,comparative analysis of three singing versions,and exploration of singing practice.The author will analyze and study the characteristics of different singing methods when interpreting,and propose opinions and opinions on emotional expression and singing treatment in singing practice.
