A Study Of The History And Influence Mechanisms Of The Hand-made Porcelain Art Of Jingdezhen

The report of the 20 th Party Congress points out that we should inherit the excellent Chinese traditional culture and meet the growing spiritual and cultural needs of the people.The ceramic culture supported by the handmade porcelain craftsmanship of Jingdezhen is an important component of the excellent traditional culture and is loved and pursued by people both at home and abroad.As a typical representative of the traditional handicraft intangible cultural heritage,Jingdezhen handmade porcelain skills have a history of more than a thousand years and a clear division of labor.However,with the political and economic changes and the application of modern technology and mechanical production in the handmade porcelain industry,the traditional handmade porcelain skills are facing a crisis of inheritance and development,and many long-established handmade skills are changing and disappearing.This paper uses documentary research and interviews to obtain information about the art of handmade porcelain in Jingdezhen,supported by rich documentary and solid interview data,to sort out and summarizes how the art of handmade porcelain in Jingdezhen was handed down in different historical periods,and to compare and analyse the historical and contemporary art of handmade porcelain in Jingdezhen,in order to find out in which aspects the handing down has changed and in which aspects it has not,and then to focus on the causes and influencing mechanisms of such changes using the method of rooted theory.The findings suggest that:Firstly,from its inception to the development of the art of handmade porcelain in Jingdezhen to the present day,the art has shown an overall trend of steady rise to a peak,then a gradual decline,and then a rapid rise.Secondly,compared to the previous handmade porcelain art inheritance in Jingdezhen,the contemporary handmade porcelain art inheritance in Jingdezhen has changed mainly in four aspects: the inheritance subject,the inheritance method,the inheritance content and the inheritance object.Thirdly,the factors influencing the inheritance of Jingdezhen handmade porcelain skills include the inheritance subject,inheritance method,inheritance content and inheritance object,as well as external influencing factors such as the market and the government.Based on this,suggestions are given for the long-term inheritance and development of the handmade porcelain art of Jingdezhen:(1)strengthening the awareness of the inheritance of porcelain craftsmen;(2)increasing the support of the inheritance objects before and after they leave the school;(3)reasonably guiding the number of people learning the content of the inheritance;(4)mutual learning and integration of inheritance methods.
