Ancient poetry songs are an important branch of Chinese art songs,which can generally be divided into the following categories,namely: "ancient words,modern songs" "modern words,ancient songs" "ancient words,ancient songs" "Modern Lyrics,Modern Songs" and others.A lyric composed by the Song Dynasty euphemist Li Qingzhao during her teenage years,"Tothe Tune of Ru Meng Ling" is not only euphemistic and offbeat,but also filled with mysterious and romantic moods and sentiments.This work has been a source of inspiration for composers on many occasions,resulting in many versions of the music,among which the more distinctive and popular is the version composed by Wang Chao,which is "ancient words,modern music".The ancient poetry songs are very popular in concert selections and are constantly performed,and this one,"Tothe Tune of Ru Meng Ling",is one of the pieces I have sung in concert.This thesis is an in-depth study of the song through documentary analysis,analysis of the score and empirical summary.There are five sections in the thesis,which are as follows:The first part of the thesis is based on the current state of research,research philosophy,research methodology,innovations and overall shortcomings of the study.The second part is an overview of the ancient poetry song "Tothe Tune of Ru Meng Ling",including the background of the composition of "Tothe Tune of Ru Meng Ling" and an introduction to the lyricist.The third part begins with a musical analysis of the ancient poetry song "Tothe Tune of Ru Meng Ling",exploring the expression of the mood of the words and music,and then discusses how the mood can be expressed through a scientific approach to singing,and also discusses the design of the piano accompaniment.The fourth section focuses on the author’s preparatory work before singing and some singing techniques during the performance.This section explores the treatment of the ancient poetry song "Tothe Tune of Ru Meng Ling" from the perspectives of strength and speed,singing timbre,breath control,bite and line,etc.,and concludes with a summary based on my own practical experience on stage.The fifth part is the conclusion.The work chosen for this essay,"Tothe Tune of Ru Meng Ling",is not only a frequently performed work on stage,but also a good piece of vocal music teaching.This essay is based on a textual analysis of Rumour of Dreams and then an analysis of the musical text,exploring the relationship between the words and the music and the creation of the mood.The author’s own singing experience is combined with his own interpretations,such as the use of the vocal foundation of American vocal singing,through the clear bite of ethnic singing,to show the diverse presentation and interpretation of Chinese ancient poetry songs,and the construction of a new feature of the interpretation of Chinese ancient poetry songs "ancient words,modern songs". |
