With the development of economic globalization,the popularity of the Internet,and the progress of science and technology,enterprises around the world are constantly expanding to overseas markets.At the same time,China’s comprehensive strength,and other aspects have been continuously enhanced,which has won the appreciation of all countries in the world.China’s excellent culture has spread abroad,and its products are also welcomed.Cross border live e-commerce webcast is one of the most direct and effective ways to introduce products to the international market and attract potential consumers.Live e-commerce webcast has been developing rapidly in the new era.With the development of society,its content has been constantly updated,and the linguistic study of this emerging communication phenomenon needs to be strengthened.Therefore,this paper attempts to study the language characteristics and differences used in the Chinese and English live webcast platforms under the guidance of Speech Act Theory.This thesis studies the feasibility of online live webcast using the theory,and attempts to incorporate Chinese and English short video e-commerce live webcast into Speech Act Theory.Since many domestic and abroad webcast anchors are used to conducting the same live webcast on different platforms,this thesis selects Tiktok domestic and abroad versions as the corpus source.The thesis mainly takes the “face-to-face” short video live e-commerce webcast in Tiktok as the research object,collects 50 “face to face”domestic Tiktok and overseas 50 “face to face” Tiktok short videos,and conducts a more detailed analysis and research on them.The purpose of exchange and reference of foreign live e-commerce webcast methods is to show the charm of Chinese culture to the world more vividly and specifically,enhance the sense of national cultural identity and cultural self-confidence,provide better speech strategies for e-commerce training institutions,create more similar target language style copy writing,create more affinity and more interactive live webcast environment,which is conducive to further improving the international influence of domestic short video live webcast.It is more conducive to promoting “Made in China” through foreign culture.
