A Study On Luo Zhenyu’s Research Of Using The Oracle Materials To Correct Shuowenjiezi

Luo Zhenyu is a well-known paleographer in China and has made pioneering contributions to the establishment of scientific paleography Among oracle researchers,Luo Zhenyu occupies an important position,is one of the “four halls of oracle bones”,and is the founder of oracle bone science.The academic community’s research on Luo Zhenyu is mostly concentrated in some larger and more macroscopic fields,such as his research on oracle bone science,philology,epigraphy and other fields.The use of shuowenjiezi for paleographic interpretation is a prominent feature of Roche’s paleography research,and at the same time,it has also produced many correction results on shuowenjiezi.In terms of correcting the shuowenjiezi,Luo Zhenyu has pioneered the correction of many characters.However,there is still a lack of relevant research on Luo Zhenyu’s research on shuowenjiezi,and the research on Luo Zhenyu’s use of oracle bone data to correct shuowenjiezi is even rarer.Therefore,this article focuses on Luo Zhenyu’s oracle bone book Three Interpretations of Yin Wushu Deed,and summarizes the use of oracle bone data to correct the shuowenjiezi with specific character examples in the book as the research object.The thesis is divided into four parts.The first part is an introduction,which mainly introduces the background and significance of the topic selection,research status,research content and innovation,research methods and data sources.The second part is the first chapter,which mainly introduces the life of Luo Zhenyu and the relevant results of using oracle bone materials to correct the shuowenjiezi in the Three Interpretations of the Book of Yin Wu.The third part is the main part of the article,which is divided into chapters 2,3 and 4.The second chapter is Luo Zhenyu’s Yin Shang Zhenbu Character Examination,which uses oracle bone data to correct the shuowenjiezi,which is divided into two sections: correcting the violation of the ancient basket and correcting the violation of the seal text,and a total of 78 cases of character examples are listed.Chapter 3 For Luo Zhenyu’s Yin Wushu Deed Examination and Interpretation and its updated version,the oracle bone data is used to correct the shuowenjiezi,which is divided into three sections: correcting the loss of the analysis of the shuowenjiezi,correcting the loss of the interpretation of the shuowenjiezi,and correcting the loss of the form and meaning of the shuowenjiezi,with a total of 60 examples.Chapter 4 corrects the errors and causes of Luo Zhenyu’s use of oracle bone data in the shuowenjiezi,which is divided into five sections: mistaken text shape,misanalysis of the character shape structure,confined to the shuowenjiezi,unknown decorative pen,and data limitation,with a total of 67 character examples.The fourth part is the epilogue,summarizing the achievements and significance of Luo Zhenyu’s use of oracle bone data to correct the shuowenjiezi.
