| With the development of society and culture,snow has been given a special meaning because of its pure quiet characteristics in contrast with the noise of the world.It expresses the painter’s extraordinary aesthetic taste with its unique aesthetic characteristics,which gradually enriches the painting of the snow scene theme.Looking at the history of Chinese snow landscape painting,the Northern Song Dynasty,as the peak of the development of snow landscape painting,has become a model for future generations to study because of its simplicity,cleanliness,quietness and coldness.This article takes the creation of snow landscape painting as the ultimate purpose,aims at the specific historical period of the Northern Song Dynasty and focuses on exploring the aesthetic characteristics of snow landscape painting in the Northern Song Dynasty,and summarizes and guides personal creative practice.The first chapter first summarizes the historical context of snow landscape painting.Secondly,it analyzes the aesthetic and cultural foundation of the snow-scape landscape painting in the Northern Song Dynasty from three perspectives.The second chapter focuses on the analysis of the representative painters and works of the snow landscape of the Northern Song Dynasty from the perspective of aesthetic characteristics,and summarizes the aesthetic characteristics presented by the pen and ink language of the paintings of this period: the simple beauty of Li and Guo Keyou;the clean beauty of Xu Daoning in the dense snow in Guanshan;Wang Shen gave the beauty of tranquility to the snowy scenery in the south of the Yangtze River;the cold beauty created by the cold forest of Fan Kuan.The third chapter is to create a graduation work-"Xue Yi Yan Shan" under the comprehensive inspiration of the experience of predecessors.The whole process has been explored from the aspects of creative motivation,conceptual innovation,pen and ink techniques,color application and aesthetic construction.It is necessary not only to inherit the ancient method,but also to create a new contemporary snow landscape. |
