Since the 20 th century,a large number of artists have tried to combine the Chinese and Western painting,and Chinese landscape painting has gone on to diversified development.The contemporary Chinese landscape painting not only has the traditional painting technology characteristics,but also shows the unique artistic charm of contemporary aesthetic style.The decorative nature of modern Chinese landscape painting is the further development and expression of traditional landscape painting.It has its own unique aesthetic value and style idea.Based on the "pen" and "ink" of traditional Chinese landscape painting,this thesis combines the decorative characteristics of modern and contemporary painting language,creates landscape painting of King Jingjiang’s Palace of Ming Dynasty,a national cultural heritage.In this process,the thesis probes into the fusion innovation of traditional landscape painting techniques and decorative painting language,showing the ancient and modern charm of King Jingjiang’s Palace.The first chapter mainly discusses how the concept and language of decorative painting was used the application of modern and contemporary landscape painting.The thesis first summarizes the decorative painting,and then studies the application of decorative painting language in the landscape paintings of famous modern and contemporary painters in China.This thesis also expounds the decorative painting language from four aspects: the arrangement of rules,the modeling of objects,the color of pen and ink and the effect of texture to illustrate the use of decorative painting language in modern and contemporary landscape painting works.The second chapter mainly discusses the possibility of decorative painting language to the aesthetic form of King Jingjiang’s Palace.This thesis explores the inevitable connection between decorative painting language with distinct characteristics of The Times and the language of King Jingjiang’s Palace from the appearance to the connotation from the two aspects of profound cultural landscape and plane presentation,beautiful and meaningful natural scene and subjective expression,so that the painting language can better present the spiritual connotation of King Jingjiang’s Palace.The third chapter is the key point of this thesis.It mainly discusses the application of decorative painting language in the author’s landscape painting "The impression of King Jingjiang’s Palace".Firstly,it expounds the creative inspiration of "The impression of King Jingjiang’s Palace",and then analyzes the traditional culture spirit of King Jingjiang’s Palace by using the flat composition of space,design of simple and exaggerated geometry,symbolic painting,color language,a mottled and distinctive texture effect to inherit the traditional culture spirit of King Jingjiang’s Palace by the spirit of landscape.The fourth chapter is the author’s perception of the landscape painting based on the above-mentioned creation.This chapter highlights the decorative painting language in the aesthetic value of King Jingjiang’s Palace,shows the value and significance of its times,and enlightens the author how to explore and pursue in the future.Moreover,this chapter is a new perception of the development of Chinese landscape painting from the tradition.This thesis analyzes the combination of the cultural spirit of King Jingjiang’s Palace and the decorative language of modern and contemporary Chinese landscape painting.
