| Chinese Japanese loanwords have broad and narrow senses.This paper adopts its broad sense,that is,the words created,transformed and activated by Japan belong to Chinese Japanese loanwords.According to the characteristics of the introduction of Chinese Japanese loanwords,it can be roughly divided into three stages : before the middle of the nineteenth century,from the middle of the nineteenth century to the middle of the twentieth century,and after the middle of the twentieth century.Based on the previous research results,this paper first clarifies the nature and history of Chinese Japanese loanwords,and analyzes the cognitive basis of the construction of Japanese loanwords by combining the traditional theories of metaphor,metonymy,gestalt psychology,image schema and prototype in cognitive linguistics.As a discipline that studies the relationship between ’ language-world-intellectuality ’,cognitive linguistics should not only focus on the concept of language itself,but also pay attention to the social dimension.Combined with the social turn trend of cognitive linguistics,this paper analyzes the cognitive disputes arising from the introduction of Chinese Japanese loanwords into China from three aspects : content,reason and result.Because of the close relationship between Japanese loanwords and Chinese,coupled with the great changes in modern Chinese itself,the introduction of Chinese Japanese loanwords not only makes some words coexist with various concepts,but also causes errors in conceptual cognition,and also causes many words in the etymological cognition.Confusion.Taking ’aesthetics ’,’ economy ’,’metaphysics ’ and other words as examples,this paper analyzes the conceptual cognitive influence of Chinese Japanese loanwords,and then studies the source of some Chinese Japanese loanwords through English-Chinese dictionaries compiled by missionaries in China such as Morrison,Wei Sanwei and Medhurst,and discusses their influence on etymology cognition. |
