Analysis Of Ding Shande’s Piano Dance Performance

“Dance music”is a microcosm of a national dance music culture,which can reflect the colorful spiritual and cultural life of the people.Mr.Ding Shande is a famous composer in China,who has created vivid and rich musical images in his piano and dance works.The research object of this article is Mr.Ding Shande’s four piano dance works from different creative periods.These four piano dance pieces are“Xiaofeng Dance”,“First Xinjiang Dance”,“Festival Dance”,and “Second Xinjiang Dance”.The author analyzes Ding Shande’s piano dance works from several aspects such as the creative background,musical essence,and performance techniques.At the same time,based on my own playing experience,the author elaborates on the performance techniques of the work from the aspects of melody,interval,rhythm,and pedals.Through the above research,it is hoped that it can provide valuable references for future performers in practice and further deepen their understanding of piano dance works.
