A Study On Selected Works Of Li Ao’s Ancient Prose In The First And Middle Period Of Qing Dynasty

Li Ao,an ancient writer in the Tang Dynasty,advocated the idea of "attaching equal importance to literature and Taoism" and advocated the idea of "removing emotion and revenge" and "creative speech",which had a deep influence on later generations.Its prose is simple and mellow,highly respected by later generations.After the Song Dynasty,Li Ao’s article were gradually selected from selected classics,which expanded Li’s literary influence.Especially the Qing Dynasty is an important period for Li Ao to accept the ancient prose,selectors listed it as the Tang and Song dynasties,there are a variety of important selections and comments on Li Ao’s ancient prose,revealed the thought and literary characteristics of Li Ao’s article,enhance the status of Li Ao’s literary history,has an important value in the history of Li Ao’s ancient prose acceptance.This paper takes the important selection and criticism of Li Ao’s ancient prose in the early and middle Qing Dynasty as the research object,explores the characteristics and value of the selection and criticism of Li Ao’s article,excavates the achievements of the research and treatment of Li Ao’s article by the Qing people,in order to explore the history of Li Ao’s acceptance in the Qing Dynasty,and lays a foundation for further study of Li Ao’s ancient prose.The first chapter discusses the selection of Li Ao’s articles in the early and middle Qing Dynasty and before Qing Dynasty.In the Song and Ming dynasties,there were not many anthologies of Li Ao’s ancient texts,and scholars paid more attention to studying Li Ao’s thoughts on classics,and less to analyzing Li Ao’s creative characteristics.In the early Qing Dynasty,Chu Xin’s book Record of the Complete Works of Ten Masters in Tang and Song Dynasties analyzes in detail the creative skills of Li Ao’s ancient writings,reveals the literary characteristics of Li Ao and opens the upsurge of Qing people’s study of Li Ao’s ancient writings.In the middle of the Qing Dynasty,Emperor Qianlong took the Complete Works of Ten Masters in Tang and Song Dynasties as the model,deleted Chu Xin’s selected articles,selected elegant articles,and published the Royal Selection of Tang and Song articles.Standing on the position of the ruling class,this book affirms the literary value of Li Ao’s ancient writings.Later,Gao Shuran of Fujian Province wrote the book the Li Xizhi Xian Sheng Wen Du,which was the only anthology on Li Ao’s ancient writings,and fully revealed the value of Li Ao’s ancient writings.This chapter mainly summarizes the selections of Li Ao’s ancient texts in the early and middle Qing Dynasty,clarifies the development of the ancient texts,and shows the overall outlook of Li Ao’s articles in the Qing Dynasty.At the same time,it also briefly summarizes the selected editions of Li Ao’s articles before the Qing Dynasty.Through comparison,the characteristics and achievements of Li Ao’s articles in the Qing Dynasty can be better presented.The second chapter analyzes the differences in the selection and evaluation of Li Ao’s ancient prose between the Complete Works of Ten Masters in Tang and Song Dynasties and the Royal Selection of Tang and Song articles.Chu Xin’s the Complete Works of Ten Masters in Tang and Song Dynasties is a collection of 65 articles by Li Ao,whose commentary explores the origin,emotion and artistic characteristics of Li Ao ’s articles.Twelve articles of Li Ao are selected from the Royal Selection of Tang and Song articles,focusing on the connotation of Confucian classics,the use of politics and religion and historical characteristics of Li Ao.Although there is a direct inheritance relationship between the Complete Works of Ten Masters in Tang and Song Dynasties and the Royal Selection of Tang and Song articles,their selected articles,comment methods and comment contents are different.A comparative analysis of the two books can further reveal their respective positions and influences in the history of Li Ao’s ancient prose acceptance.The third chapter deeply studies the critical value of Gao Shuran’s Reading of Li Xizhi Xian Sheng Wen Du.This book is an anthology of Li Ao’s ancient prose,with detailed comments and various ways of commenting.Gao Shuran accurately reveals the creative skills and literary style of Li Ao’s articles,and probes into the characteristics of literary style,simple style and historical writing method.Through the analysis of Gao Shuran’s selection and comment on Li Ao’s articles,we can fully understand the literary characteristics of Li Ao’s articles and the acceptance of Li Ao’s ancient articles in Fujian Province in the middle of Qing Dynasty.Various selections in the Qing Dynasty have different emphasis on the selection and evaluation of Li Ao’s ancient writings.This paper combines points and points,taking the Complete Collection Works of Ten Masters of Tang and Song Dynasties,the Royal Selection of Tang and Song articles and the Li Xizhi Xian Sheng Wen Du as individual cases,deeply analyzes the selection and evaluation characteristics of Li Ao’s articles,and reveals the contribution of the Qing Dynasty people to the study of Li Ao’s articles.
