A Study On The Structure And Function Of "Bu+Monosyllabic Range Adverb"

In daily communication context,"Bu + monosyllabic range adverb" is used frequently.Some of its members have become words,while others are still in the process of evolution,showing different distribution and functional differences.Therefore,on the basis of previous studies,this paper focuses on the "Bu +monosyllabic range adverb" from the perspective of syntactic selection,pragmatics and discourse,and on this basis explores its asymmetry in these three aspects and its causes.This paper consists of five chapters:The first chapter mainly describes the significance of the topic,the research status,the research methods and the sources of the corpus of the examples.The second chapter firstly divides the level of "Bu+monosyllabic range adverbs" from the syntactic level,and determines the para-modifier "non-monosyllabic range adverbs" as the research object of this paper.Then explore the choice of "Bu +monosyllabic range adverb" to monosyllabic range adverb;After analyzing the receding of "shi" in "Bu+X+ shi",it is found that there are three cases of "must appear","must disappear" and "free receding",which are mainly restricted by the suppression of fixed sentence patterns,the principle of language economy,the right step pattern and pragmatic restrictions.Finally,on the basis of the above research,this paper compares the asymmetry in the selection of "Bu + monosyllabic general range adverb" and "Bu + monosyllabic limited range adverb",finds that there is asymmetry in the selection,frequency of use and whether to form words,and explores the reasons for the asymmetry.The third chapter from the perspective of pragmatics,finds that "Bu + monosyllabic blanket range adverbs" and "Bu + monosyllabic limited range adverbs" have obvious tendency in the choice of sentence types.Both of them can express the subjective attitude and emotion of the speaker,but the "Bu+monosyllabic adverb of limited range" also has the emphasis function,and there are differences in the subjectivization path of the two.In addition,both of them have psychological presupposition function under certain conditions.Finally,on the basis of the comparison of their pragmatic function asymmetry,explore the causes of asymmetry.The fourth chapter from the perspective of discourse,found "Bu+monosyllabic sweeping scope adverbs" and "Bu+monosyllabic finite scope adverbs" have obvious differences in style.Both of them can promote the topic by the way of topic continuation and promote the coherence of the text by highlighting the implicit logical relation,but "Bu+monosyllabic limiting range adverbs" can also promote the progress of the text by highlighting the implication.In addition,both of them have the function of front and rear scene information prompt.Finally,on this basis,the author compares their dissymmetry in discourse function and explores the causes of the dissymmetry.The fifth chapter summarizes the main conclusions,innovations,and shortcomings of this article.
