A Research About Evolution Of Creation On The CCTV’s Silk Road Documentary

With the planning and implementation of China’s 21 st Century "One Belt,One Road" initiative,the creation of Silk Road documentaries has once again attracted widespread attention,especially the continuous increase in the quantity and quality of CCTV’s Silk Road documentaries,and their domestic and international influence has also increased significantly.The "Silk Road" documentary produced by China’s authoritative media "CCTV" is a typical sample.It is subdivided into the 1980 s,the early 21 st century and the three periods after the "Belt and Road" initiative was proposed,and placed it in the overall creation environment of the Silk Road documentary.There are two reasons for taking the Silk Road documentaries produced by CCTV as the research object: First,based on the credibility,influence and dissemination power of the national authoritative media,CCTV is the largest broadcaster in the Chinese documentary market;Second,CCTV is an important carrier of national ideology,and the documentaries produced at each stage are closely related to the national policies and ideology of this period,so the creation of such documentaries by CCTV is political,authoritative and representative.Longitudinal research on CCTV’s Silk Road documentaries can use comparative research to clarify the evolution and reasons for the creation of CCTV’s Silk Road documentaries in different periods: First of all,the quantitative analysis of the changes in the content of CCTV’s Silk Road documentaries is mainly reflected in three parts: the change of topic selection,the change of theme and the change of concept;Secondly,from the turn of the narrative strategy,the qualitative analysis is carried out,mainly to study the changes of the narrative subject,the narrative method and the receiving subject;Finally,in terms of dissemination and acceptance,it is reflected in changes in the way of dissemination,scope,and influence.Therefore,through vertical historical and horizontal comparisons of the same kind,we can focus on the differences in content,narrative and dissemination of this unique and significant creative theme in the history of Chinese documentaries,and then focus on the great development and changes of Chinese society,economy,politics and culture.
