| The kinship between parents and children is unique and irreplaceable.Parent-child relationships have an important impact on people’s physical and mental health and the harmonious atmosphere of the family.Due to the separation of space between college students and their parents,there are issues such as mutual communication and understanding between parentchild relationships.Currently,parent-child products on the market are mainly aimed at children and parents,while parent-child products aimed at adults and parents are relatively rare.This paper conducts innovative design of parent-child products aimed at adults to solve the emotional communication problems between college students and parents,meet their needs in parent-child relationships,and enhance emotional communication between parents.Based on literature analysis and user research,this article conducted an in-depth exploration of improving the parent-child relationship between college students and their parents,and specifically conducted the following research work:(1)This article analyzes and sorts out relevant literature on parentchild relationship,self-disclosure,and emotional design theories,discusses and analyzes the promotion effect of self-disclosure on parent-child relationship,and the guiding significance and feasibility of applying emotional design theories to parent-child product design.(2)A user study was conducted using questionnaires and user interviews to investigate and analyze the current situation of the parentchild relationship between college students and their parents,as well as the main problems and causes.The design goal was to enhance parent-child understanding and understanding of each other,and to strengthen emotional communication between parents and children.At the same time,conduct research and analysis on users’ behaviors,summarize and summarize users’ needs when conducting self-disclosure and receiving content disclosed by others.(3)Based on the theoretical analysis content and user research results,the process of self-disclosure is sorted out,and the various stages of selfdisclosure between parents and children,as well as the elements and tools included in each stage,are analyzed.Parent-child product design strategies are proposed from the perspectives of the directionality of parent-child disclosure behavior,user self-disclosure,user acceptance of the other party’s disclosure content,and the giving and presentation of feedback,in order to promote the smooth flow of parent-child self-disclosure behavior It occurs repeatedly and continuously,and allows users to feel the care,missing,and other emotions between parents and children.(4)Define product design plans based on design strategies,and conduct product design practices and design evaluations.Produce parentchild emotional communication products based on self-disclosure,including mobile apps and intelligent display terminals.Users can conduct self-disclosure between parents and children through convenient,simple,and diverse recording methods to enhance their understanding and understanding of each other’s daily and spiritual needs,and enhance emotional communication between parents and children.Finally,the design is evaluated and validated,and suggestions for improvement are proposed based on the experimental results.In summary,this study is based on self-disclosure and combines emotional design theory to conduct design practice of parent-child products for college students and their parents,exploring new directions for parent-child product design under the guidance of psychological theory,which has important practical significance in solving problems between college students and their parents and increasing emotional communication between parents. |
