Local Characteristics And Traditional Narration Of Chinese Science Fiction In The 21st Century

In the new century,Chinese science fiction began to relax the wings of imagination and construct Chinese science fiction words.It had achieved more achievements in its local creation.However,there was still a long way to go for the construction of the local theory of Chinese science fiction.Therefore,this article focused on the awards of the "Galaxy Award",studying the local characteristics and traditional narrating mode of Chinese science fiction,providing some advice for the future Chinese science fiction’s local creation,and exploring new ideas for the construction of the local theory of Chinese science fiction.There are four chapters in this article.The first two chapters are about the local characteristics of the Chinese science fiction in the new century.The last two chapters are about the traditional narrative contained in Chinese science fiction in the new century.The introduction briefly summarized the development of Chinese science fiction,sorted out the current situation of Chinese science fiction in the new century,and explained the meaning,innovations and research methods of the thesis.The first chapter summarized the three features of Chinese science fiction:memory of history,attention to the anxiety of urban people and worry about the crisis of natural environment,which reflected the local feature of the combination of Chinese science fiction and Chinese reality.The second chapter dig out the Chinese concepts of the new century Chinese science fiction from three aspects:the love for the land,the pursuit of the truth,and the worry for the future.In third chapter,I will pay attention to the renovations of local stories in the new century Chinese science fiction.I will analyze the two renovations that the science fiction writer uses a scientific way to explain legends and at the same time utilizes science and technology to create "miracles" in history.In the fourth chapter,I analyze the application of the three traditional narrative modes of martial arts,reasoning,and romance in Chinese science fiction in the new century,and think about the creation mode of the new century science fiction writer in the future.In the new century,Chinese science fiction should fully understand its own local value,dig out its own potential in creation,connect its ethnic nature with the world,provide the world with a Chinese plan with Chinese intelligence,and dig out more possibilities of science fiction.
