How to promote the healthy development of young people is an important research direction in our educational field.However,previous studies on adolescents focused too much on "problem correction" and ignored the positive development potential of adolescents themselves.With the development of positive psychology,more and more attention has been paid to the concept of positive adolescent development,which holds that every adolescent has the possibility of positive development and can achieve positive development as long as development resources are properly used.According to the theory of development resource system,when internal resources and external resources coordinate,the positive development effect of adolescents is the best.In addition,as an important stage of individual development,junior high school is a period of significant changes in the physical and psychological development of adolescents.During this period,individuals will be subjected to multiple influences from the outside world in interpersonal communication,campus learning,social life and other situations,and such influences will be reflected in their adult behaviors along with their growth.Therefore,it is important to pay more attention to junior high school students among young people.Based on this,this study selects peer relationship from external resources and psychological congruence from internal resources of the adolescent development resource model,and uses the "China Positive Youth Development Scale"," Peer Relationship Scale" and "SOC-L9" to test709 students from 4 junior middle schools in Guangxi.The general status of peer relationship,psychological congruence and positive development level was investigated.The differences in demographic variables of peer relationship psychological congruence and positive adolescent development were compared.Finally,we explore the relationship among peer relationship,psychological congruence and positive adolescent development,and investigate whether psychological congruence plays an intermediary role in peer relationship and positive adolescent development.Result:(1)The positive youth development of junior high school students shows a good level in total score,character,ability,self-worth and connection.Male students scored significantly higher on the self-worth and connectedness dimensions than female students.Seventh grade scored highest on the character and connection dimensions.Non-only children scored higher than only children on character dimensions and overall positive adolescent development scores.(2)The direct influence of peer relationship on character and ability of positive adolescent development is the largest.The mediating effect of psychological congruence is the largest in self-worth and connection of positive adolescent development.Educational suggestion:(1)Pay attention to junior high school students’ peer communication,and do a good job of guidance and communication skills.(2)Improve the level of psychological unity of junior high school students,home-school joint mining junior high school students themselves and the environment of favorable resources,strengthen the attention to students facing major events.
