This article uses the research methods of cultural anthropology and storytelling to elucidate the spread and evolution of Zarut’s folk tales,while tracing the "mythological prototype" of Zarut’s folk tales and further revealing the cultural connotation of the "special motif".On the basis of better preserving traditional folktales,Zharut folktales are influenced by other oral literature of Mongols and other neighboring ethnic groups,such as drawing essence from myths and legends,heroic epics,Hu Renwuliger,and Benzi stories,enriching their story content.The introduction section explains the reason for selecting the topic,research methods,innovations,data sources,and outlines the research overview.The first chapter of this article discusses the spread and evolution of the folk stories of Zarut.This article mainly analyzes the current situation of the dissemination of Zarut folk stories,as well as the influence of other oral literature on Zarut folk stories.The second chapter explains the mythological prototypes in the folk stories of Zarut,which include mythological prototypes such as "the origin of the universe","the origin of humanity",and "characteristics of flora and fauna".The third chapter explains the special theme and cultural connotations of Zarut’s folk stories,which contain the cultural connotations of "immortal theme","gratitude theme",and "soul worship theme".The fourth chapter explains the traditional customs and culture in the folk stories of Zarut.It mainly explains the cultural connotations of the themes of "sacrificing to the God of Plague","sacrificing to the God of Stove","sacrificing to the Yellow Immortal","seeking children from the elderly",and "traditional marriage customs".The conclusion provides a brief summary of the entire text,summarizing the research work and theoretical achievements of each chapter.
