The Dulcimer And The National Orchestra Rhapsody Analysis Of Creative Characteristics

Wang Danhong is a resident composer of the Central National Orchestra.He is one of the most representative young composers in contemporary China.He is good at using music creation to explore new forms of expression contained in traditional national musical instruments.The Rhapsody was originally played by the symphony orchestra,and later Wang Danhong adapted it into the national orchestra version.The research object of this paper is the dulcimer and the national orchestra version Rhapsody.Rhapsody is Wang Danhong by young dulcimer performer Piao Wenlin,tailored for the dulcimer.Based on the characteristics and potential of the dulcimer,innovative creative techniques are used to show its unique musical expression ability,aiming to deeply explore the musical expression of the dulcimer,so that it transcends the traditional framework and shows more diversified and personalized musical characteristics.As a musical instrument that has been introduced into China for a short time,the cultural and historical background of the qin is relatively thin,which makes it have certain ’international’ characteristics.By making full use of this feature,Wang Danhong takes the dulcimer as the core to create his works,especially highlighting the ’virtuoso’ performance of the dulcimer,so that he plays a striking role as an instrument in his works.This article is divided into three chapters.The first chapter uses the literature analysis method to find the relevant information of Wang Danhong on the Internet,summarizes his life and creative characteristics,and briefly introduces the creative characteristics of Rhapsody.In the second chapter,the structural characteristics,rhythm characteristics of Rhapsody and the relationship between the solo instrument dulcimer and the national orchestra are studied in depth by using the spectrum analysis method,musicology analysis method and experience summary method.Through analysis,it is found that Rhapsody has three unique characteristics,which will be studied in detail in the third chapter.First of all,Wang Danhong gives full play to his ability to dig deep into the advantages of the musical expression of traditional national instruments,and uses the traditional national instrument dulcimer to play jazz materials,showing the characteristics of the works’ swaying and enthusiastic and unrestrained music emotions,and reflecting the characteristics of the integration of Chinese and Western cultures.Secondly,by playing clever and jumping music materials,the ’percussion’ characteristics of the dulcimer are fully demonstrated,and the dynamic and expressive force of the music are enhanced.Finally,the work adopts the dual form of concerto genre and rhapsody genre.By emphasizing the position and unique performance of solo dulcimer in the band,as well as the use of free musical structure,the concerto genre and rhapsody genre are successfully integrated to create a musical form with free structure,gorgeous dazzling skills and unrestrained enthusiasm.
