| R&B(Rhythm and Blues, abbreviated as R&B,translated as Rhythm and Blues in Chinese)is one of the most popular pop music styles in the world today. In the 1940 s,R&B was born in black community churches in the southern United States.Because of its rhythmic rhythm and beautiful lyrics,it developed rapidly throughout the United States. One of the musical styles that Americans are best at.In recent years, foreign researches on R&B music style mainly focus on music background, specific singing methods and fusion research with other music styles.Generally speaking, foreign research results are relatively rich, and some insights have been formed, but comparative research on R&B is relatively lacking.R&B appeared successively in Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan in the 1980 s and 1990 s,and quickly spread to the mainland. However, compared with foreign countries,R&B is a relatively small music in China. Therefore, scholars and singers who pay attention to R&B,and even the audience is relatively small. In recent years, domestic research on R&B has mainly focused on the origin of R&B music style;research on Chinese R&B music and singing characteristics;case studies on R&B singers or song singing skills;specific perspectives on R&B singing skills Research;research on the fusion of R&B and Chinese style or other musical instruments,etc.5 aspects.Although R&B started relatively late in China and is relatively unpopular, its research results are still diverse, abundant, and insightful. However, there are relatively few studies on the singing skills of R&B music, and no scholars have conducted in-depth analysis of the singing styles of Chinese and foreign singers from a comparative perspective. In view of this, this article uses the method of document consolidation, case study and comparative analysis to comprehensively explore the singing style of R&B from both macro and micro aspects.Macroscopically, the R&B singing skills are comprehensively and deeply analyzed from the perspectives of rhythm, improvisation, false voice, mixed voice, transliteration and tremolo, and the basic theoretical framework of R&B singing style is constructed. On the micro level,in order to test the feasibility of the theory constructed at the macro level, this study selects the R&B interpretation of the black singer Usher and the Chinese singer Khalil Fong as the research object, and analyzes their specific singing styles. After research,it was found that for the Chinese, because R&B is not a local music style, and is limited by the sound conditions, the interpretation of the R&B music style by the Chinese is relatively insufficient, especially in terms of body rhythm and emotional expression.Innate conditions are important, but acquired hard work is the key to the success or failure of things. In order to further verify the feasibility of the theory constructed in the previous stage and the accessibility of Chinese to R&B music style, this study applied the previous research results to teaching practice and found that: Chinese scholars can perceive cultural background, improve lyrics understanding, and enhance singing skills,Grasp the perspectives of rhythm and rhythm, and improve the perception of R&B music style through the "listening→imitation→deduction" mode, thereby improving its accessibility. This study not only deepens the theoretical research on music ontology and improves the cultural self-confidence of Chinese people, but also provides a theoretical basis and practical reference examples for the teaching and singing of R&B music style from a teaching perspective. |
